Music
Ministry Page
The choir, instrumentalists, and
song leaders make up the Music Ministry of St. John Vianney Parish. The
emphasis of ministry focuses not only on music’s role in Mass, but also on
the assembly’s primal role as celebrants of the Eucharist. There are no
auditions when joining the choir, and new members of all ages are
graciously received and coached during rehearsals - the choir is a very
supportive group often fond of recreational gatherings outside of
ministerial service. Rehearsals are eleven months a year on Tuesday
evenings in the Parish Center Basement at 7:30 p.m. The “choir led”
liturgies are currently on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. All other liturgies are
served by song leaders and instrumentalists as well. Please contact Rob Mondoy for the Music Ministry's concerns and schedule)
